The Canterbury Explorers is the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Association of Gifted Children (NZAGC).   The Canterbury Explorers is run by a group of parent volunteers with the aim of supporting gifted and talented children, including twice-exceptional (2e), and their families from Christchurch and Canterbury.

An Evening With Jim Delisle

The Canterbury Explorers hosted internationally renowned gifted expert, Dr Jim Delisle, in Christchurch Last year where he presented his talk Learning to Exhale: Meeting the intellectual and emotional needs of gifted children.
